Request a free quoteMobile window tinting is a fully-equipped service that arrives at your address with the films, tools and power needed to fit window film on-site. You arrange parking, access and a dry working area; we bring the rest. Coverage depends on travel time from our base in the south-east of England, which is why the page lists the towns, postcodes and journey radii we routinely cover. If you are outside the area, send your postcode with a brief project description and we will tell you whether the work fits a regular visit.
Guardian Tints operates from a base that allows same-day or next-day visits across most of London, Kent and Surrey. The map below shows the regional hubs we use as a starting point for travel: each hub covers a network of surrounding towns and villages listed on the area page. Multi-stop visits are normal, especially when two cars at the same address are being tinted together. The London boroughs we visit most often include Croydon, Bromley, Bexley, Lewisham, Southwark, Lambeth, Wandsworth, Merton, Sutton and Kingston. Across Kent we cover towns from Dartford and Gravesend down to Maidstone, Canterbury, Dover and Folkestone. In Surrey we visit Guildford, Woking, Epsom, Leatherhead, Redhill, Reigate, Dorking and the surrounding villages.
Tell us about parking, height restrictions and any covered space when you book. Film fitting needs a clean, dry environment that is sheltered from wind-blown dust; an open driveway on a windy day is harder to work in than a garage or a calm morning. For vehicles, clear personal items from the dashboard, doors and boot, and let us know if there is existing film on any pane, a tracker or a toll-tag sensor near the windscreen. For homes and commercial premises, agree access to high-level glazing, move furniture away from the working area, and tell us about any glazing warranty or recent replacement panes. We confirm the chosen film specification in writing before any fitting starts.
A workshop visit typically costs you a day: drop the car off, get a lift back, return to collect it. A mobile visit removes the lost day entirely; many cars are finished in two to three hours from arrival. Home and commercial film is naturally site work, since the glass does not come to us. The mobile setup also lets us see the actual glass and lighting conditions, which matters when choosing between a reflective privacy film, a frosted film, a dyed privacy film or a near-clear ceramic film.
Send your postcode, vehicle or property type, and the windows or panes you want tinted. We confirm the visit window, the film specification and the price in writing. If a particular day matters (a fleet handover, a letting changeover, a moving day), tell us up front so we can plan the route.
Common questions cover parking, weather, payment, what happens if it rains mid-fit, and whether we tint in the dark. The short answers are on this page; for anything specific, send a message on WhatsApp or call 07799 626620.
Yes. The service is mobile across London, Kent and Surrey. We bring the films, tools and power; you provide a suitable working area.
We reschedule without charge if the weather makes safe fitting impossible. Interior work (homes, commercial premises) is unaffected by weather.
Most two-door and four-door cars are finished within two to three hours on site. Larger glazing, sunroofs or windscreen work take longer and are quoted separately.
No. The mobile setup is self-contained. We only need a suitable parking space and reasonable access.
